Lobosillo held on Saturday, July 2, the third Race for Life in order to promote sport among people of all ages and fight against drugs.

This race will bring together over 800 athletes of all categories that passes through the main streets of town with an absolute distance of 9.450 kilometers.

The race is organized by the Municipality of Murcia and Casiano Navarro.

Councilman District Campo de Murcia, Manuel Duran, today presented the event along with Navarro.

The race will begin at 19 am in the Parque de las Peñas, Calle Miguel Angel Blanco and will be performing tests for male categories (senior, junior, junior, cadet, infantile, juvenile, Benjamin, veterans) and female (senior, junior, junior, cadet, infantile, juvenile, Benjamin, veterans).

The top five finishers in each category will receive trophies, cups and medals.

Participants will receive a commemorative race t-shirt and other gifts.

Registration takes place from 16 May to 1 July and are priced at 5 euros for adults and $ 2 children.
