The Department of Urban Cleaning and Cespa carry out the campaign "If you separate them, Murcia recycled 'for children 6 to 12 years to learn techniques of recycling

With the arrival of summer and thinking about the smaller the Department of Urban Cleaning and Waste Management, led by José Ros, has launched in collaboration with grass, the concessionaire of this service, a new campaign under the slogan 'If You separate, recycle Murcia, a program of activities for children aged 6 to 12 years to be developed in several districts of the municipality to encourage recycling and other environmental values ​​inculcation.

The activity is part of the awareness campaigns, and among its goals is to show children the importance of reducing waste generation, reuse and recycling and teaching them to make different objects from disposables.

The activities, which will take place from 17.30 to 20.30, will begin this afternoon in Guadalupe (garden of the cultural center) and Friday morning Espinardo (Azor garden).

The coming weeks will visit various districts of the municipality.

Planned activities include some like to make a sock that have been outgrown in a fun puppet, a piece of cardboard in an original racket or a roll of toilet paper in a friendly octopus.

In addition, different types of reusable material will develop different games that children will have to carry the materials to their proper place with the help of different colored containers and different use.

Participants were given backpacks cans recovered and cotton seeds to plant inside.

The campaign claims that children have environmental consciousness and in the future will be the stars of recycling.
