First some comments made following the stance that the University of Murcia has with respect to certain actions of the leadership of the Catholic University "San Antonio", in response to the demand raised by various news media, the Rector this institution wishes to state the following:

First .- The University of Murcia did not intend to offend or at any time to one's Catholic University "San Antonio" or their groups of teachers, students and their families and staff management and services.

This is a university established under legislation in force, so we have nothing to say on this.

Second .- From the University of Murcia does not share certain decisions which, in recent times has taken the leadership of the Catholic University "San Antonio" in regard to adaptation to the Bologna Process, especially in relation to degree and diploma and, in particular, with the itinerary of degree and master's degrees.

Third .- The University of Murcia has never promoted - or promote - a smear campaign or oppose decisions that have the necessary - and reasonable - and do not pose legal support for discriminatory treatment.
