The City Council renewed its agreement with the Foundation to improve CajaMurcia senior centers and promote their activities (22/06/2011)

The aid amount is 180,000 euros

Undertake actions to improve social centers muniicpio's largest and enhance the development of an extensive program of activities or cultural character asitencial is the purpose of signing the cooperation agreement between the Foundation and the City of Cajamurcia Murcia through Department of Social Welfare and Social Services, led by Maria del Carmen Pelegrin.

The beneficiaries are the 76 Centres for the Elderly in the Municipality, attached to it.

Thanks to this agreement have been able to do many works of improvement and refurbishment of the Centres.

Also, the Golden Week over the years has enabled the realization of cultural and leisure events in which they have participated every year more than 8,000 seniors.

Also the funding for each of the centers they have been a significant help in carrying out its program of activities.

This agreement has benefited over 30,000 people associated with the 76 Centers and is a contribution for 2011 of 180,000 euros, which will provide for improvement works and equipment in the Centres for the Elderly, program support activities of each centers, as well as the development of a Grand Gala of seniors who as usual takes place in late September.
