The Campus of Excellence "Mare Nostrum", which is promoted by the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic University, has achieved 1.2 million euros in a call for proposals sponsored by the Ministry of Education in consolidation mode .
The Rector of the University of Murcia news announced today the Governing Council of this institution during the ordinary session held in the same building in convalescence.
The rector, José Antonio Cobacho has indicated that this grant "achieved in competition with many other Spanish universities, is a recognition of the strength of our campus of international excellence, which achieved 5.3 million when funding was approved."
During this session of the Governing Council has approved the convening of infrastructure, which is allocated 550,000 euros for Equipment of laboratory practices for students and teaching and practice for consumables and purchase of books.
This governing body has also approved the contents of several cooperation agreements to be signed with various agencies and institutions and the rules of stay of students.
