Eva María Rodríguez Muñoz, a student at the School of Communication and Information Studies, University of Murcia, has won the "First Prize Idea Responsible for improving corporate social responsibility of the institution, which was delivered at the headquarters of the Rectory.
The student got the prize, worth 1,000 euros for a project promoting healthy habits among the university community and promotes environmental education and social responsibility in the institution.
The jury, chaired by the rector, José Antonio Cobacho, gave up two second prizes of 500 euros each, to the initiatives presented by the professor of the Faculty of Sports Science Ernesto de la Cruz Sanchez and PAS member Gabriel López Martínez.
Prior to the awards ceremony, the authors of the five finalists presented their idea to a jury, in addition to the rector, vice rectors Antonio Calvo-Flores, Maribel Sanchez-Mora and Fernando Martin.
Cobacho praised the quality of the work presented in this first annual award and the difficulty the jury to choose.
