The Municipal Executive Committee PSRM-PSOE in the municipality of Murcia has held this afternoon its first meeting after the election to discuss the election results.
It takes the seriousness of the results in the loss of three councilors in the city of Murcia and a significant loss of representation on municipal boards of neighborhoods and districts within a global context of the fall of PSOE in Spain.
However, the Municipal Executive is aware that the results obtained by the PSOE in Murcia force a more serious reflection, continuing the commitment to doing politics differently, to be useful to citizens from the place they have chosen .
The Executive assumes that it must improve its communication with citizens and for this the Socialists will continue to work at street level and door to door to better explain our project is that the municipality must take the situation of social and regional imbalance, and modernize our city taking you to where it belongs.
In addition, during the meeting it was decided that next week will continue meeting to set a new agenda and procedure for reflection in a participatory manner with the militants and supporters of the PSOE in Murcia.
The Municipal Executive thanked Murcia confidence they have placed their vote in the socialist project to Murcia and has ensured that elected officials are committed to defending the interests of the municipality from the opposition.
It has also confirmed its confidence in the PSOE socialist project submitted to the municipal elections.
