The Ombudsman for the Region of Murcia, José Pablo Ruiz Abellán, and the attachment of the institution, Raimundo Benzal, participated in the seminar "Constitution and Law", coordinated by Professor of Law at the University of Murcia Luis Gálvez, which explained the work being done in the processing and resolution of complaints.

Ruiz Abellán said in the House of Arts of the University that the main function of the Ombudsman is to "defend the rights of citizens and respond quickly requests made."

The work, he said, should aim to investigate those complaints from citizens relating to the administration and conduct, where appropriate, recommendations to relevant agencies to achieve an improvement of administrative services.
