The Department of Employment, headed Beatriz Hontoria, has opened the application period at the Initial Vocational Training Program, which offers training courses for 16 to 20 years in the municipality who have not completed compulsory secondary education.
The City offers 154 places for young people to learn the following specialties:
-Auxiliary power
-Assistant Welding
-Kitchen Assistant
-Assistant hairdresser
- Assistant aesthetic
- Assistant store trade
- Assistant nurseries and gardens
-Plumbing-HVAC Operator

Pre-registrations will be on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9.00 am to 13.00 pm in the Program Office, located at the Center for Employment Training and Initiatives in Murcia, ave.
Primero de Mayo, FICA fairgrounds.

Vocational Training Programs are an alternative training for youth who have not completed secondary education (ESO).
The goal of these programs is to enable achieve professional competences of a Level 1 qualification, provide a satisfactory job placement and securing of Secondary Education, who are interested in further study.
