XII begins Murcia Three Cultures International Festival with the opening this evening at 20 pm in the City Museum, the second edition of the exhibition 'Murcia found.

If the past year, painters José Hurtado Mena, Joseph Burgess, Antonio Balibrea, Manolo Pardo, Francisco Cánovas Almagro, Antonio Sanchez and Jesus SILVENT reflected the archaeological sites of the Islamic city preserved in Murcia, this time these same seven painters show their pictures on seven other archaeological areas but are outside the village.
So this year the exhibition includes pictures of the castle of Monteagudo, Castillejo de Monteagudo, Castillo de Larache, the Contraparada Weir, Wheel of Nora (Irrigation system in the Huerta de Murcia), Castle Verdolay, Molino del Batan and Monteagudo Oil Mill.
These seven large-scale works were created especially for the occasion by those seven painters who bring their own vision and painting technique to these archaeological sites of the city.
Besides the paintings, with which the museum has published a catalog, be exposed archeological pieces from the collection of the Museum of the City, scientific documentation, photographs and other materials that contextualize the archaeological sites in the city.
The exhibition will be open until August 26.
