A total of 158 people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities of the Association may benefit from the project is the money raised at the Second Festival of Magic Solidaria "Great Illusions"

The Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Melegrín, Maruja Pelegrin, and the president of the Foundation Gmp, Antonio Montoro, have delivered this morning ASSIDO Association president, José Egea, a check for 30,000 euros , which was the money raised at the Second Festival of Magic Solidaria "Great Illusion."

The event, which took place at the headquarters of ASSIDO in Murcia, has also benefited from the presence of the artistic director of Magic, Javier Martin, and other representatives of both entities.

The II Festival has developed in the auditorium of the School of Dramatic Arts of Murcia, the past 1 and 2 April, and in total € 30,000 was raised which will be allocated to a project of leisure will benefit 158 ​​people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities Assido Association.

With this help, Assido may boost inclusive leisure services and has been operating for years, starting young teenager users and users of the association after 13 years, keep those already involved in it as a sign of quality life and welfare for people with disabilities, but expanding the frequency and the number of activities and offering the necessary support to those who for various reasons (economic, elderly parents, high-dependency) did not participate in it.
