The University of Murcia has presented at the Faculty of Chemistry solar vehicle, called "Fusang 2", which participate in the prestigious international competition Shell Eco-marathon, which will meet on 26-28 May in Lausitz (Germany) over 200 European teams.
Designed and built entirely by students of Chemical Engineering of the University, the prototype features new to this edition is powered by solar energy, unlike previous years, which had the internal combustion engine and fuel ethanol (prototypes " Salzillo).
The components of the team "UMU VESOS", which will compete for the first time in the category prototypes were shown to the press excited to improve results in their three previous.
The event at the Faculty of Chemistry attended the University Rector, José Antonio Cobacho, the project leaders, teachers and Mariano Antonio González Alarcón Carpena, and sponsors.
