501 students compete this morning in the second phase of Local Competition XXII Road Safety Education and Accident Prevention.
The schools are part of 167 teams, each composed of three students, 51 secondary schools.
Participating students (3 º ESO) respond to a questionnaire with thirty questions in a time of 45 minutes, with the objective of moving to the third phase, to be held in late May and early June.
With each correct answer get a point.
The individual score of each student joins the rest of team to advance to the third phase the group has obtained a minimum of 80 points.
The final winning teams will:

The first stage of the competition was held in schools during the months of March and April.
Each center has come a team of three students.
-20 51 centers were enrolled IES, 29 aided schools and secondary private school, with the participation of 4,175 students.
In the second stage equipment 167 passed, with 501 students.
As explained by the Councillor for Education and Youth, María Dolores Sánchez, is intended to motivate students in learning and compliance with traffic rules, creating and reinforcing attitudes and habits of living, responsibility and caution in situations of risk and danger.
At first relates to the conduct of bicycles and mopeds, to start, then, learning the rules, signs and advice on their driving and that one should not forget that young people in this stage are regular users of these vehicles.
The Department of Education and Youth and Traffic Safety and maintain that road safety education training is the best prevention for accidents.
Accidents in moped accidents has dropped significantly from previous years, the trend remains positive.
