The Department of Culture has organized guided tours, concerts, exhibitions and workshops in the four municipal museums
Murcia is attached for the seventh consecutive year throughout Europe the celebration of the Night of Museums on Saturday, as well as International Museum Day, which takes place on Wednesday 18.
In all, develop a score of activities planned by the Culture Department in the municipal museums are enrolled in the project as official participants.

As for the Museum Day, the City Museum will celebrate with a guided tour 'The museum, treasure chest' to be held on 18, 19 and May 20 every hour during museum opening hours.
This visit to the Museum facilities include spaces that are normally restricted and shows the most significant pieces of the collection.
Intended for all audiences interested in understanding the internal dynamics of a museum.
It is also scheduled to hold the workshop 'Tell us your stories' (days 17, 18, 19 and 20 May, 18 to 20 h.) The Museum pieces evoke memories, those memories create stories that feed it.
This workshop is aimed at people over 65 who can contribute memories and experiences on all parts and contents of the museum.
Registration is free but require a minimum of 4 persons for the workshop.
Also on Thursday 19, at 20 hours, will open the second edition of the exhibition 'Found Murcia.
Seven sites, seven artists', part of Murcia Three Cultures International Festival.
At the Museum of Science and Water has also organized a special program, in addition to remain open on Saturday for free from 19.30 to 22 hours.
During this time there will be a global session, 'The memory of the stars', with sessions at 19.30 and 21 hours and takes approximately 40 minutes (recommended for ages 8 and over. Maximum 25 people per session).
Also there will be a guided tour of the Museum, entitled 'An unexpected visit: Madame Curie' sessions at 19.30 and 21 hours (intended for all audiences. Maximum 25 people per session).
On Wednesday 18, Museum Day, there will be an open house from 10 to 20 hours and children's global session 'Milo travels through the Solar System', at 17.30 (aimed at children from 5 to 8 years, all Children must be accompanied by an adult).
Adults will also enjoy the planetarium with the session 'The memory of the stars', to be held at 19 hours.
Another activity is "Adventure-T 'in which visitors will have to solve a series of scientific puzzles, finding the answers in different rooms of the Museum (17 to 20 hours)
For its part, the Museo Ramón Gaya, besides celebrating the Night of Museums 13 and May 14 with guided tours at 22.15, 23, 23.45 and 0.30 hours, has organized other activities to be held on 18 May.
Throughout Wednesday, 10 to 22 hours, there will be an open day, which will be given a rose to all visitors.
At 19.30 hours will be held the tour 'Other ways of viewing the permanent collection of the Museum' with one exception guides: Cristóbal Belda, Professor of Art History at the University of Murcia, and Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, Professor of Literature UMU.
Río_Caballerizas Mills Area will remain open on Saturday until 22 hours.

On Tuesday May 17 at 19 pm in the auditorium of the space will be a panel discussion with the photographer and architect Joaquín Clares Manuel Clavel on "Rio de Janeiro, the soul of a city 'on the occasion of the exhibition' Dwellings and residents' which takes place in Space 2.
On Wednesday 18, International Museum Day, there will be visits to museums Hydraulic, where visitors can take a tour of the Museum's history and see the mill in operation.
Also, from the terrace of the building will see a magnificent view of the river Segura and several of the most emblematic buildings of the city (Old Bridge, City Hall, Cathedral, Episcopal Palace ...) The visitor may make extraordinary photographs of the urban environment from this space .
