Antonio Luis de la Torre Otálora, a student of IES Floridablanca in Murcia, has been the winner of the second Olympiad Geography of Spain, which was organized by the Association of Geographers Santander.
In addition to Antonio Luis de la Torre, represented the region of Murcia in the national phase of the Olympic High School students Maria Martinez Hita, the IES Francisco de Goya de Molina de Segura, and Mario Ruiz Sánchez, IES Valle del Segura White, who were fifth and seventh, respectively.
In the national Olympiad, attended by about thirty seconds of high school students in the Valencian Community, Balearic Islands, Madrid, Aragon, Navarra, Cantabria and Murcia, selected in their respective regional phases, in which over 800 students attended.
Representatives Santander Murcia were accompanied by their teacher mentors and family, who enjoyed several visits to tourist sites in the Cantabrian capital.
