Unión Progreso y Democracia de Murcia expresses doubts about the need to build a new parking lot on Calle Floridablanca.
For his spokesman and candidate for mayor of Murcia, Rubén Juan Serna, the existence of the Artillery Barracks car park with many unoccupied seats, and future works of the Railway Station with its corresponding parking Carmen render the building a similar work.

Serna, who has collected the arguments offered by the Carmelite Neighborhood Association, believes that the current economic crisis could make further dent in the shops in the Barrio del Carmen for months if they are raised for sidewalks and road works.
