The IU-Greens Candidate for mayor of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, today denounced the lack of combined rates that allow citizens to use, with a single bond or note, the trams and buses.
Herguedas also denounced the "privatization" of two separate means of transport belonging to different companies, thus preventing the implementation of a combined and intermodal transport that allows the transfer between the two.
This has added the responsibility for municipal transport is shared between the Community and the City, which, in his opinion, results in "unresolved chaos" in relation to the management of transport.
"So the tram becomes a trap, it also has eliminated bus lines with a tour coinciding with its layout, and shows that their objective is to improve mobility but to promote urban growth areas," he concluded.
