The choir of the University of Murcia plays music from four continents in the International Festival of Youth Orchestras (14/04/2011)

On Saturday April 16, closing day of the International Festival of Youth Orchestras, the streets of Murcia will be filled with musical notes with the participation of three orchestras and a chorus in some of the most emblematic of the city of Murcia.

The meeting opened at 12 noon, at the Avenida de la Libertad, the Choir of the University of Murcia, who will perform American gospel, bossa nova, Brazilian, Cuban salsa and folklore of the Colombian Pacific coast, as well as traditional songs from Nigeria , Israel, Japan or the U.S. Apaches.

The choir is directed by Jorge Losada.

An hour later, at 13, three orchestras offer as many auditions: Artic Strings Orchestra in Norway and Sweden will be playing in the Plaza de Santo Domingo, the Czech Republic's Orchestr Novomstsky intervene in the Place de la Cruz, and Chamber Orchestra Valencia Music Cordis will appear in the University Square.
