The University of Murcia for the next course will offer a total of 6,410 places for new students, which is a figure similar to the current course, under the resolution adopted by the Governing Council of this institution, which began on Tuesday Faculty of Mathematics and concluded the following day in convalescence.
The Chancellor has opted for the maintenance of supply, being sensitive to the growing demand of young people who want to join the University and despite the adverse economic situation.
The governing body also approved the new Regulation on Examinations, which will apply to all undergraduate and Masters degrees from next year.
The Regulation sets out the obligations and duties of both teachers and students for the entire evaluation process, including the convening, conduct of examinations and complaints and review.
Another novelty is that concerning the recording of oral examinations, which may come when teachers and students on request.
The Governing Council has given its approval to next year's academic calendar, which indicates that classes will start on September 14 in general, except for the first courses of ten degrees, they will between 19 March and 3 October.
The opening ceremony of the course will be held at a date to specify, in Cartagena, and will be held in a joint event with the Polytechnic University.
