The University of Murcia has organized for tomorrow, day 14, a day to honor the physics professor in this specialty José Miguel Zamarro Minguell, who died a few weeks ago while doing sports.
The opening will be conducted by a professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​Juan Santiago Muñoz, who collaborated with Zamarro during the first half of the seventies.
Juan Santiago recalled the early days of the honored teachers and their first classes of General Physics in the old School of Chemistry, University of Murcia.
The event will begin at 11:15 am at the Faculty of Chemistry, to be followed by a conference (at 12:15)'s also a professor of the Autonomous University of Barcelona David Jou Mirabent, speaking of the physical brain, and a table round (at 13:00).
The conference is organized by the Department of Physics and Vice President for University Extension.
