The PSOE candidate for Mayor of Murcia, Pedro López, has raised this morning a plan to put lots of neighborhoods and districts of Murcia and convert them, temporarily, in playgrounds, sports, entertainment or education freely accessible to all citizens .
With this proposal, "says the socialist candidate transforming solar will be achieved in transient public spaces available to all residents, so that the streets of our neighborhoods and districts become more alive, while jobs will be created (for adjustment and cleaning solar employ unemployed) and improving the urban image of the municipality.
Pedro Lopez stresses that this proposal is based on two major pillars of the socialist project for Murcia, such as citizen participation and employment.
Therefore, the sites where interventions are implemented will be selected from proposals from the citizens, after signing contracts with the owners agree.
Furthermore, this adaptation will take place in a friendly environment, using mostly recycled materials.
"All the spaces can be used by neighbors until the owners of lots to obtain licenses and work begins," says the candidate of the PSOE, who emphasizes that "the facilities will be dismantled and reused elsewhere when it builds the where it was installed solar. "
This initiative has already been successfully applied in municipalities such as Zaragoza, through the project 'Estonoesunsolar' and starts after establishing transfer agreements with the owners of the land.
