XIV Congress 'National Physiotherapy Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy in Pain' (08/04/2011)

San Antonio Catholic University of Murcia (UCAM) has closed this afternoon the XIV National Congress of Physiotherapy, under the slogan 'Physiotherapy and Manual Therapy in Pain' has developed in the Monastery of Los Jeronimos 7 and 8, April.

Following the closing conference of the symposium, by the Professor of Physiotherapy at the University of Murcia, Antonia Gomez Conesa, entitled `manual therapy tension headache ', the Chancellor of the UCAM, Josefina García Lozano, closed the event with by the Vice Chancellor for International Relations and Communication, Pablo Blesa, and Dean's Degree in Physiotherapy, José Luis Martínez Gil.

Both José Luis Martínez Gil, as the president of the Congress Organizing Committee, and Professor of Physiotherapy at the University, Maria Antonia Murcia, positively have pondered the conclusion of this fourteenth edition of the National Congress of Physiotherapy.

Gil Martinez explained that during the event brought together numerous experts and professionals in Spain which, along with experts from various postgraduate courses and masters of the UCAM, have approached from a multidisciplinary perspective through presentations, communications and workshops, issues related to the treatment of pain through physical therapy and manual therapy.

These have highlighted the neck pain, tension headaches, pain during breastfeeding, the dysfunctions of the knee in Taekwondo athletes or manual treatment of valgus flat foot in children.

Professor Martínez Gil said that "this conference is certainly a great opportunity to assess the latest developments, research, and technical manuals latest in the treatment of pain."
