Next Friday, April 8, will be held on the campus of the V Carrera Popular Espinardo, University of Murcia, an event aimed at inculcating the habit sport as a healthy and beneficial for all, so it is aimed not only at all levels of the university community-students, teachers and administrative personnel and services, but also to secondary schools.
The test was conducted over a distance of 4500 meters in the Espinardo Campus, starting and finishing in Monte Romero Stadium, and not show a high level of demand.
The 2011 edition again has broken the record for participation, as has happened every year since its inception in 2007.
If last year the figure was close to 1800 participants, all the organization estimates for this time involving a total of 2500 runners.
Departure will be at 11 am from inside the stadium Monte Romero, and is scheduled to take place trophy at 12'45 hours, run by Francisco Guillermo Díaz Baños, Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Isidro Verdú Conesa, Director of Sports Activities, Aurelio Navarro Martínez, Head of Sports Activities and Pagan Luis Miguel Albaladejo, Director of the Center for Sports Medicine.
The activity has the support of the Directorate General of Sports of the Autonomous Region, the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the Department of Sports City of Murcia.
