Teachers College of Nursing, University of Murcia speak at the XVIII National Congress of Geriatrics and Gerontological Nursing, with the theme "Aging: a critical success" will be held on 7 and 8 April at a hotel in Murcia.
The teachers Concha Rivera, José María Montesinos, Florentina Pena, María Dolores Flores, Beatriz Lidón, Concepción González, José María Galiana and Professor Miguel Angel Larrosa present papers on a Congress that will address issues such as caring for the elderly the family.
The challenges to aging in terms of gender, EARC project outcomes in nursing homes, patient safety or strategies before the stroke are some of the issues to be discussed by experts and professionals in the nursing participants.
The conference, which also involved hospitals and nursing managers, will be inaugurated with a lecture to be delivered by Professor Sharon K.
Ostwald, University of Texas at Houston (USA).

The Congress is organized by the Spanish Society of Geriatric and Gerontological Nursing and is held in the Hotel Siete Coronas.
