The University of Murcia hosts on Thursday 31 March, at 19.30, poetic and theatrical installation "Women: Muses, divas," Poetry Group Scene "Auralaria" Orihuela.
The initiative, organized by the Cultural Service of the Vice President of University Extension, will be held in the auditorium of the Merced campus.
With this setup, Auralaria, a group formed by Luisa Pastor and Alvaro Giménez, aims to highlight the importance of the female figure as poetic creation engine.
"Women: Muses, divas" presents a tribute to the two facets that make the protagonist of verse: one woman muse, the subject of praise or complaint male, embodied in the work of the poet Miguel Hernández and Vicente Gallego on the other, the woman who stands in singing voice and takes account of its history, taking as spokespersons for this particular mode of being, living and feeling the poet Alfonsina Storni, Juana de Ibarbourou and Elena Roman.
Part of this assembly, entitled "Two Sonnets, two women, integrating a greater," Styling the air ", with which AURALARIA has helped to celebrate the work of Miguel Hernández in the year of its centennial, the 2010 .
