The Mayor, Miguel Angel House, has visited the site of the future Center for Social and Progress Older neighborhood, a beautiful building that will include a multipurpose room, cafeteria, hall, room for new technologies, among other agencies.
The new building consists of three main parts:

Senior Center, consisting of cafeteria, multipurpose room, linked its use to city hall, reading room, hairdressing and physiotherapy.
2.
Hall, consisting of office for mayor, administration and meeting room on the first floor.
3.
Board of new technologies, comprising computer room and new technologies.

Because of this variety of usage, is conceived a building consisting of two floors with possibility of partial closure of some of the uses and can operate independently of each of the applications.
The building aims through the atrium areas directly related to the lobby to enter the garden inside the manner set forth in the entrance hall a large room with double height where link and monitor all applications that are established, through the upper curtain wall is intended to suggest the user the feel of the interior-exterior duality, getting with the reflection that throws the woodwork on the walls give mobility and sense of nature, however the design is inspired by the shadow it sheds.

The project has been funded by the Local Investment Fund (Plan E) and developed by the city of Murcia and municipal developer Urbamusa.
