MTB & Cycling Association Road Torreagüera and the Department of Environment and Urban Quality Murcia invite to participate freely in this route
MTB & Cycling Association Road Torreagüera, in collaboration with the Department of Environment and Urban Quality of the City of Murcia, through the Municipal Office of the Bicycle, organizes the pedal Bicihuerta Murcia Torreagüera Family. "
The route will take place next Sunday and to participate must pre-register for free by calling 968 824 563 from 9 am to 14 and from 16 to 20 hours.
The "Family Bicihuerta Murcia - Torreagüera 'will begin on the campus of La Fica Murcia and that will run along the new cycle of the River Segura which starts from there to the hamlet of Torreagüera Murcia.
The pedaling is a party aimed at families in which young and old will enjoy this tour of Murcia.
Participants will go through some of the most characteristic landscapes of the municipality such as citrus crops from the garden, the banks of the River Segura and the relief of the mountains of El Valle Regional Park Carrascoy.
The layout has been designed to be accessible, being able to go boys and girls of all ages.
It is a flat route that will travel in an approximate distance of 12 km at an easy pace with rest stops throughout the tour.
The City, through the Office of the bike will provide a small snack energy to the participants.
The route on Sunday 27 March will be on schedule from 11 to 14 hours.
The meeting point will be at the starting point at the beginning of the bike lane on La Fica.
The event is free but must pre-register to participate in the phone 968 824 563.
We recommend wearing a helmet, although virtually the entire journey was made through the River bike path for safety of children.
In addition, attendees are encouraged to carry their own water and a small lunch.
Murcia City Council continues its commitment to cycling as sustainable transport and works with associations for the bike and the MTB & Road Cycling Association of Torreagüera to achieve the common goal of achieving a clean and friendly environment.
