San Antonio Catholic University (UCAM) hosted this evening a lecture entitled 'Current and relevance in Telecommunications in the Security and Emergency Services', by the Coordinator of Emergency Services-112 of the city of Lorca, Ricardo Villalba, and Telecommunications expert, Federico Fabregat.
The activity is framed in Teleco10 Lecture Series, which promotes the Engineering Degree in Telecommunications Systems.
Both experts have made an informative tour and technology for telecommunication systems applied to emergency management and have shown the challenges and present and future projects related to security management in the Region of Murcia.
Ricardo Villalba and Federico Fabregat have said during his speech that new technologies play a fundamental role in the operational area of ​​Security and Emergency Management, such as from the recent earthquake in Japan, exacerbated by the effects of the tsunami and radioactive leak Fukushima Nuclear Power Station.
