Murcia University won first place in the Spain Championship medal in Olympic Wrestling University, held in San Javier, with the participation of 18 universities in twelve regions.
Murcia University scored a total of 12 gold medals -4, 4 silver and 4 bronze-that have allowed her to be the first university in the overall standings with a total of 83 points.
On the other hand, José Antonio Álvarez Moreno, graduate student in Early Childhood Education at the University of Murcia, has won two medals in the Championship of Spain Absolute self-selection of Swimming for the Disabled, held in the city of Malaga.
The athlete won a gold medal in the form of 100-meter backstroke, a silver in 50 meters backstroke and two fourth place finishes in the 200 and 100 freestyle.
Also, seven male rugby team compete in this institution a few days in March and 8 April in Grenada in the final tournament of University Sports of Spain.
The equipment is presented in the final after beating UPCT UCAM and regional phase, and outperform its rivals in the interzonal stage of Madrid.
