National Police agents outside the district police station of El Carmen, in Murcia, have arrested three persons who were charged a total of 17 robberies in the interior of vehicles, committed during the past weekend.
These arrests are part of a system introduced by the Police Headquarters in preventing and responding to these crimes.
In the first of the operations carried out last March 12, agents of the police station in El Carmen, attached to a device to prevent arrested two Moroccan men, both 29 years old when they were caught after have committed two separate burglaries in two vehicles parked in the recreation area located near the Trade Center towers.
After the arrest, it was found that in the same place were three other vehicles that had been stolen by the same procedure, ie by forcing the door frame of the vehicle and in the hours immediately preceding.
The time allotted for attributing these three recent thefts of detainees who are charged, thus committing a continuing crime of burglary.
At the time of arrest were involved two large screwdrivers hiding in his clothes and it is presumed that may have been used in the robberies.
Two days later, he proceeded to arrest a man for 41 years, Spanish nationality, resident of the hamlet of La Alberca Murcia, who is charged with a total of twelve interior of vehicle thefts committed in the villages of La Alberca and St. Angelo.
This arrest culminates an investigation that began in February, after the commission of numerous robberies in the interior of vehicles in that area.
After analyzing the circumstances in these robberies and the modus operandi of them, were set up devices for identification, prevention and reaction, which resulted in arresting the alleged offender when he was in the city of Murcia.
The detainees have been released to the Magistrate's Court Guard Murcia.
