The socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, Pedro López, has advanced this morning during a press conference in the Garden of the Malecon, the main lines of the axis of environment Murcia 100% strategic plan developed by the PSOE to the next elections.
Our river
In this sense, the socialist candidate has made some of the proposals contained in this plan, among which the recovery of the Segura river passing through the city to create recreational spaces for citizens (conditioning on the banks of the river for the construction of paths and pedestrian walkways).
Our garden
Respect for the natural and cultural resources of the Garden is another issue on which Pedro López emphasis.
"It is our hallmark, and we must stop the lawlessness, arbitrariness and the disappearance of something as ours," he stressed.
Connected and maintained green areas
Pedro Lopez is also committed to implement a plan of activation of metropolitan parks connected to an efficient public transport.
This will avoid the isolation and deterioration of green areas and has the municipality, as is currently the House of Paintings, in the hamlet of El Esparragal; Rambla Salada, from Sangonera La Verde and Boatmen, and the area of ​​El Valle.
Cleaning and Waste
Similarly, the Socialist candidate for Mayor of Murcia has announced that it will implement a management and treatment of urban waste local plan to end the uncontrolled landfills, real separate collection of organic matter in origin, as well as the implementation a new strategy for street cleaning in the city and districts, among other issues.
