Councilman Festivals and Popular Culture presented the news of the young Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Calvary and the Virgin of Sorrows

Councilman Festivals and Popular Culture, Rafael Gomez, this morning the Easter of the hamlet of Monteagudo, to be proclaimed by the Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara.

The Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Calvary and the Virgin of Los Dolores debuts this year a statue of Our Lord Jesus Nazareno de La Mirada, the young sculptor ciezano, Yuste Jesus Antonio Navarro, who has been brought to the residents of Monteagudo.

Gomez stressed that the work of the young brotherhood of Easter is still spotless and in these six years of history have managed to bring to Easter Monteagudo among the most prominent of the municipality of Murcia.

Founded in September 2005, the Brotherhood of the Holy Christ of Calvary and the Virgin of Los Dolores has about 200 brethren.

Also, the head of Festivals and Popular Culture also pointed that in the coming days will be introduced to the media the most important guilds of the municipality in order to inform the public the important tradition and devotion Week Passion in Murcia.

In the press conference were also unveiled the contest poster Monteagudo Easter 2012, the prize is valued at $ 500.

The entry period will end in February 2012.
