The City Council will renew the equipment of cafes and hair salons located in Centres for the Elderly and Women's Centers as needed.
The Session has approved an investment of 100,000 euros for the acquisition of material to be renewing the furnishings and appliances are damaged.
The facilities are aimed at the 72 Centers for Women and 76 Senior Centers that exist in neighborhoods and districts of the municipality.
In addition the Council has renewed its partnership agreement with the Official College of Chiropodists of the Region of Murcia, in the period 2011/2015 to provide podiatry service in the 76 Senior Centers.
Women's Centres and Social Centres for the Elderly depend on the Department of Social Welfare, Gender Equality Policies and Citizenship, who heads María del Carmen Pelegrin.
