Miguel Angel House has received this morning Emilio Robles Oñate, new President of the Academy of Medicine and Surgery, Murcia, who was elected to this position last dciembre.

La Real Academia de Medicina de Murcia, arises from a beautiful and diverse tradition that shone in the Middle Ages through an ancient Academy of Medicine, whose existence can be framed in the years in which they operate such important figures as Abraham Musa Phia, Honain ben Ishaq, Ibn Sabin Ibn Arabi and the extraordinary, ascetic figure of the Islamic Summit.

In this year of 2001 was published the Royal Hospital Lazaretto Galeras and San Julian de Cartagena.
In development is the work on the life of Dr. Closas, first ophthalmologist Murcia.
Finally, note that each year publishes an extensive work called Annals', which is reflected academic scientific activity.
