The University of Murcia has presented the calls of the XII and XI Painting Prize Photography Prize, endowed by the Foundation Vicente Fuentes with 8,000 and 1,800 euros, respectively.

The deadline for submitting paintings will be 30 May to 10 June, while the original photograph of 3 to 13 May.

The president of the Foundation and the Mansion Inn Bed La Seda, Francisco Fuentes, said in the presentation, which was developed in building Convalescence, "if in previous years were around the 140 participants, this year we expect that the impact of Awards will be greater.

At the presentation ceremony was also attended councilor Quality and Modernization of the Administration, Festivals and Popular Culture of the Municipality of Murcia, Rafael Gomez, Vice Chancellor of University Extension, Francisco Guillermo Diaz.

Also attended by the director of the Palace Almudí, Martin Paez, and Professor Francisco Caballero, Area Coordinator of Fine Arts University, organizer of the awards, who has emphasized the continuity of these events.
