A conference will address the rivalry between Newton and Leibniz mathematicians (09/03/2011)

The Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Murcia has organized for tomorrow, day 10, the conference "The First World War ... mathematics: Newton versus Leibniz, who will give Jesus Soto Espinosa.

The talk will be about the battle that kept both mathematicians and attributed the primacy in the discovery of differential and integral calculus.

The conference will be held in the auditorium of that department at 12:00 hours.
