The Department of Geography at the University of Murcia has organized for tomorrow, day 9, the I Olympiad in this discipline aimed at students of 2 º Bachillerato, which will be held from 10:00 am at the Chamber of the Faculty of Letters, Merced campus.
After the Olympics, which will consist of a written test to be solved in an hour, give a talk on the professional work of the geographer and the structure of degree in Geography and Planning.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Association of Geographers and the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment, will examine the geography and to encourage secondary students with an interest in this science.
On the other hand, and tomorrow, 9, will receive their awards from the regional stage of the Mathematical Olympiad XLVII.
The event will be held at 18:00 pm in the auditorium of the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Murcia (General Lecture), Campus de Espinardo.
