All Spanish cyclists participating in the 2012 London Olympics will wear the name of Murcia in their kits (02/03/2011)

Mayor House renews the Spanish Cycling Federation agreement to promote the image of Murcia on the 5 continents.

More than a thousand cyclists have worn this image throughout the world during 2010.

The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House, and President of the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC), Juan Carlos Castano, this morning signed a commitment to extending the sponsorship of this entity Murcia to the Spanish Federation by next two seasons and reaching up to the Olympics in 2012.

The event was attended by the Councillor for Sports, Miguel Cascales, Vice President of the RFEC, José Griñán, and national road coach, Jose Luis De Santos and the president of the Federation of Murcia, José López.

Is a collaboration that began in 2008 and is resulting in complete satisfaction, by which the name of Murcia spreads many competitions on five continents are taking part the national cycling teams from different disciplines and categories.

In total, more than one and a half thousand Spanish cyclists have worn the equipments of the RFEC in rallies and competitions during 2010 and expects a similar figure for 2011 and 2012.
