The choice of the winner and four ladies will take place next March 26.

The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, accompanied by Social Welfare Councilwoman Maria del Carmen Pelegrin, shared traditional breakfast this morning with 30 candidates for Queen of the Elderly.

The event is organized by the Federation of Senior Citizens' Centres in the municipality, with the assistance of the City of Murcia.

The breakfast was held at the Hotel Siete Coronas, Murcia, and is the starting gun for the election of the Queen of the Elderly and her four bridesmaids, which was held on March 26.

The City of Murcia has currently a total of 76 major centers: 64 in districts and 12 neighborhoods.
