The Faculty of Biology, University of Murcia presented the awards of the various competitions organized within the activities of its XXIV week.
During the closing ceremony, who presided over the rector of the University, José Antonio Cobacho, and the dean of the center, José Meseguer, were handed awards for competitions in drawing, photography, posters, biology of the Olympic Games and certificates of participation.
The award of School Drawing Competition VII was for elementary students Cremades José Ignacio González, Mónica Meseguer and José Manuel Marín Girona Guardiola.
With regard to the Biological Photography Competition XXIV, David Lopez Garcia took first prize for photography in color, while Daniel Alberto Rios won second place and was also awarded.
In the form of black and white photography, Charles James Bernis won, and in the laboratory, Mario Pizarro Carnerero was awarded the prize.
Also, Galiana Rosa Gonzalez of the St. Bonaventure College, received the award as winner of the Regional Olympiad of Biology, and a jury chose a lineup of José Antonio Moreno Monsalve as the best of those in the hall of the Faculty.
In addition to the competitions, the week of Biology included conferences, open houses and workshops, activities that gave special attention to the career paths of graduates of this university.
