The University of Murcia hosts the local phase of the Chemistry Olympiad (24/02/2011)

Tomorrow, 25, will be developed at the University of Murcia and Cartagena Polytechnic evidence of the XVI Olympiad of Chemistry of the Region of Murcia for high school students.

The tests, at the University of Murcia will be held at the Faculty of Chemistry, will begin at 10:30 am.

During the course of the Olympics, has also organized a day of work aimed at secondary school teachers and University in order to improve the teaching of chemistry at all levels.

Students selected in this local stage will receive cash prizes awarded by the Ministry of Education, which organizes the Olympic Games in collaboration with the National Association of Chemists of Spain and the Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry.
