Maria del Carmen Pelegrin part in its first meeting
The Women's Center of San Ginés has a new Board of Directors recently renovated.
Maria del Carmen Pelegrin has participated in the first assembly of the center and encouraged women to use their imagination to launch new activities.
The new president of the Center for Women is Asunción Martínez Pellicer and the Vice President is Pilar García Sánchez.
The president of the outgoing Board, which has been 19 years at the head of the Center for Women, is Ana Alarcon, and Secretary Carmen Gómez.
Pelegrin has taken to explaining that in International Women's Day, celebrated on 8 March, held conferences, reading show, photo exhibitions and film screenings.
The municipality has 74 Centers for Women, which are spaces to fight for equality and against gender violence.
