The Mayor, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning attended the opening of the Tenth International Fair Volunteer, organized by the Universidad Catolica San Antonio de Murcia and installed in the Paseo Alfonso X the Wise.
The mayor has traveled the many booths set up along the avenue and stressed that the work being done by volunteers, in these times of economic crisis, it is essential to help the needy.
The shows, which will be installed until next Sunday, is part of the International Conference of Charity and Volunteering, taking place these days in the UCAM.
In this edition, the sample is particularly relevant because it is celebrating the European Year of Volunteering, which have as one of its main proposals the celebration of World Youth Conference to be held next August in Madrid.
For the occasion, the UCAM is planning to send a large delegation of volunteers.
