Large Families Federation joins forces with seven downtown merchants associations and villages.
The Mayor stressed that this initiative is in addition to aid in transportation, IBI, sports and water consumption that exist in the municipality.
The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Ángel Cámara, this morning attended the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Federation of Large Families Murcia (Fanumur) and various consumer groups.
The agreement will be implemented in the City called the Family Plan +.
This plan, promoted by Fanumur, aims to reach over 7,800 families who have card number in Murcia, who will benefit from discounts at various businesses and professionals.
Chamber Mayor pointed out that this initiative is in addition to those undertaken by the city of Murcia in transport, sports, water consumption, capital gains or IBI.
In the latter case, the last year to 5,269 families benefited from the subsidies provided to owners of housing and property owned by large families.
Regarding exemptions were 1,273 beneficiaries.
On transport, the Consistory boosted bonuses and grants for large families in general category (0.50 € / trip) or special (0 € / trip), plus 100 bonus, reserved for senior citizens (0 € / trip).
Similarly, there are reduced rates for public bicycle rental.
The budgets for this year, on the other hand, helps ensure that families and people with fewer resources will be left in the pockets of Murcia over 18.3 million euros which will cease to enter the municipal coffers.
Fanumur has signed this new agreement with Business Associations Murcia Centro Comercial Area, Barrio del Carmen, businessmen and traders Garres, Triangle Murcia, Zarandona, Our Lady of Lourdes (Fleet) and the Association of Trade and Services Stables.
Fanumur has other collaborative agreements with several hotels in the city, among which Eroski, Cortefiel, Salvador Artisans, Benetton and Department Stores and New Condomina Thader.
