The IU-Greens Councillor for mayor of Murcia, Esther Herguedas, has filed a motion in Parliament next Thursday for claiming the revision of the list of protected buildings and elements, in order to update the changes that have suffered some property since the creation of this document, in 2001.
At a press conference, Herguedas has indicated that many of these items "are not in the same state, some interventions have suffered, others have deteriorated, breaking their owners with their obligations to protect and others have disappeared or have been done away no more accountable. "
Among these, he cited the case of Aljucer mill, "which has been brought to court", and "what looks like deliberate demolition" of the farm 'The Corralazo' nineteenth century, who was on the ground the council gave the UCAM, which has asked to apply the appropriate sanction.
He has also requested in its motion a new edition of the catalog cards that allow access to it through digital media, as well as the initiation of the administrative penalties in cases where proceedings have not been implemented according to procedures.
The mayor also urged the council to take appropriate punitive measures in cases where the negligence of those responsible for the protection of these properties and elements have led to a deterioration or irreversible physical disappearance of them.
