The spaces will be launched in coming months
The Deputy Mayor for Social Welfare Policy and Equality, María del Carmen Pelegrin, made this week a visit to the new social centers of the Azacaya, Barrio del Progreso and Lobosillo.
This is a new and functional properties that show the objective of the government team to expand the network of centers for the elderly, women and various groups in the municipality.
Pelegrín stressed that the three centers were visited qualify to receive all kinds of activities that the different groups.
"Along with the functionality, design and aesthetics of the three centers are the basis of these new centers will become operational in the coming months."
The Social Centre Azacaya of Beniaján, has a total area of 250 square meters, which will host groups such as women, seniors, youth groups and other socio-cultural activities are conducted in the area.
The light, the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces in the area have been the themes that have inspired the architects to undertake the works Urbamusa this new center.
The period of execution of the work was eight months and the total cost amounts to 300,000 euros.
Respect to the center of the Barrio del Progreso, is a light and airy space of 850 square meters on two floors, which will host the Mayor and senior center, plus it will also provide a suitable space in which to develop all kinds of socio-cultural activities, as has a large assembly hall, reading room and computers, among other agencies.
The brightness, the introduction into the environment, a large garden, and functionality have been the main elements to the design of this large, modern community center will be an ideal meeting place for residents of Barrio del Progreso.
The period of execution of the work has been nine months and the amount thereof was 800,000 euros.
Lobosillo Social Centre, which is intended to accommodate women's groups and older, with an area of 800,000 square meters on two floors.
It has a cafeteria, auditorium, hairdressing, physiotherapy room and meeting room, among other agencies.
Like the two previous centers, design, modern, light and functionality combine to accommodate all types of activities.
The budget for the new center is 700,000 euros and the execution time has been about eight months.
The three community centers have been designed by the architects of Urbamusa and funded by the state fund.
