The socialist candidate for mayor of Murcia, Pedro López, leads a delegation of council members, village headman, members of the Municipal Executive and activists will participate this weekend in the City that the Socialist Party Convention held in Seville, where they will meet more 2,000 mayors and councilors from all over Spain to set the backbones of this program with the Socialists will attend the local elections on May 22 and that will be job creation and combating the crisis, the austerity in the management and transparent municipal government.
Previously, a candidate for mayor of Murcia will participate this afternoon, from 19.00, at a meeting held the First Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba, the Planning Minister and president of the PSOE, Manuel Chaves, Development Minister, José Blanco, the secretary of the PSOE, Marcelino Iglesias, and the president of the Junta de Andalucía, José Antonio Griñán, with more than 50 candidates for mayors of provincial capitals and major cities in the Exhibition and Congress in Seville.
Tomorrow, Pedro López digital participate in a meeting with Peter Castro, President of the FEMP and mayor of Getafe, Manuel Bustos, a candidate for Mayor of Sabadell, Magdalena Valerio, candidate for mayor of Guadalajara, and Elena de Diego, Mayor Villamayor de Armuña, to be held at 17.30 and will be moderated by María González Veracruz, Secretary of Innovation and New Technology of the Federal Executive.
The Prime Minister and General Secretary of PSOE, José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, will be responsible for closing the Convention on Sunday, where 25 candidates will advance 25 specific proposals.
The inauguration will be borne by Chaves and White, along with Secretary of PSOE's Municipal Policy, Antonio Hernando, the president of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), Pedro Castro and President of the Andalusian PSOE, Rosa Torres.
