The councilman of Culture and European Programmes, Fatima Barnuevo, will tonight present the award for Best Restaurant Mezze Mursiya 2010 awarded by the restaurant Gourmet Club Murcia Monteagudo.
The prize will be presented during a dinner to be served tonight at the restaurant, from 21.30.
Monteagudo Restaurant has received a global rating of 8.25 basis points in areas such as presentation, atmosphere, decor, service, raw materials, the marriage, the elaboration and complexity of the dishes, wines, explanations of Chef / Maitre and desserts:
Mezze Mursiya prize, awarded for the first time in 2007 the best restaurant in 2006, has been given in previous years by the Mayor and the then Minister of Tourism Jose Pablo Ruiz Abellán.
The winners in previous editions have been the Romea restaurant, Aqua, Silk Mansion Bed and hills of bittersweet.
The Mayor of Murcia, Miguel Angel House, is an honorary member of this club since 2007 "for his support for the dissemination of culture and cuisine of Murcia and its potential for tourism."
