The 17 libraries in the Red City received last year more than 461,000 visits.
Specifically, 440,824 people (342,942 adults and 97,882 children) were made by the different services offered as loan documents, reading room and use of Multitec.
In addition, 20,411 people participated in one of the 458 activities were held as 'Story Time' sessions, with 232--110 book clubs, meetings, tours, exhibitions, film forum, workshops, lectures, children's theater, etc. .
The Councillor for Education and Youth, María Dolores Sánchez, visited the library Sangonera the Green to see first hand the needs of this state and municipal center.
Sanchez has highlighted the quality of services offered by libraries as reflected in the number of people who visit, participate in their activities and using the loan facility.
