The sculptor Juan Jose Quiros has donated to the Confraternity of Our Lord Jesus two sketches in clay, 'Veronica' and 'San Martin de Porres' which could be seen in the exhibition that opened in Cartagena sculptor Salzillo Museum on 15 December.
The two works will be shown at the Board of Recreation Baroque Museum workshop.
The official delivery ceremony was held at the Church of Jesus, at half past eleven on Saturday, day 29, after which he will proceed to the closing of the exhibition, which has been very well received, and that Quiros had about forty sculptures, clay and bronze, which referred especially his tribute to the work of Francisco Salzillo and figures of his birth.
The two pieces donated by the sculptor Cartagena accompany the 'San Pedro Pascual', made in 1986 by José Sánchez Lozano, and all the tools from his workshop, which serve, together, to explain, much teaching, how is made of polychrome wood sculpture.
